Shawky said that the launch of this event coincides with the development and urbanization movement in Egypt, which is unprecedented in its modern history.
He added that the idea of holding an industrial engineering event at this level is a goal that was set more than twenty years ago with the aim of creating a new entity that brings together Egyptian industries under one name to serve the entire African continent under the slogan “Made in Africa for Africa.”
He expressed his hope for the participation, support and care of all operating institutions. Within the scope of industry, trade, energy, equipment, testing, measurement, calibration, industrial automation, artificial intelligence, communications, transportation and heavy industries, until the event comes out annually in a manner befitting the broad history of the Egyptian industry and contribute to the modernization of industry, raising the efficiency of the workforce, opening new job opportunities for promising youth and expanding participation in industrial projects in the region when Egypt has tremendous experience and capabilities that it will not spare in neighboring countries.”
He stressed that the Egypt-Africa Forum for Engineering Industries and Innovation (Seven i-Gears) is the dream of all supporters of the Egyptian local industry and those who wish to flourish and raise the value of the Egyptian product locally, regionally and internationally.
